What a year 2020 has become. Its goes without saying that it has been an absolute shit show for just about everyone out there! Whatever your current situation is, we hope y'all are safe, enjoying family time, and making it through all this with some outdoor activities.
The end of our redfish season in Louisiana was cut short mid March. Cancellations were made, guests were re-booked, we were scratching our heads, and the fish kept swimming as per usual like nothing is wrong. We were able to get on the pointy end of the boat WAY more then usual. A subject matter that is love hate for someone trying to make a living as an fly fishing outfitter. If you are on the front numerous days in row, something is not quite right in the grand scheme of things. We took the time with a grain of salt and made the absolute best of it. Capturing new footage on the water with drones, finding more late season fishing haunts, just relaxing and taking in how the last 5 years of business has gone.
We are excited to have amazing clients that have stuck by our side to enjoy the outdoor fishing experiences with us. No doubt we have many more to come very soon. Our early season October is light with bookings still. November is almost completely full, December half reserved. Late season January - April is wide open and fair game for anyone wanting to escape the north winter elements! Looking forward to the summer trout season in Montana as always, but something about pulling hard on those massive bull redfish will keep us excited to start right back up again this fall!
Laissez les bons temps rouler!
